When you're editing video files on [Video Edit] screen of Nero Vision or Nero Video, you can always check those files by a playback on a preview screen which is at the top of left of the sceeen, so you can figure out how the video will be done after the edit.
When you find your video doesn't playback on the preview screen and plays fine at elsewhere of Nero Vision or Nero Video, This is caused by the chipset built in your system.
Due to the function of multi-layer editing, video playback at the preview screen runs using a different architecture than elsewhere in Nero products which generally requires the latest Direct X technology just like other media editing software products. And if you find your video doesn't play corrently or just a black screen is there when staring a playback, it generally occurs because of a chipset built in your system, and, generally is because your chipset is an older version than the current version which is generally compatible with currently available computer with Windows 7 running.
So if you meet this kind of situation, the only solution for this issue is to replace your chipset with a new one, or hence if your system is some years old along with the chipset, we highly recommend you to find a new computer with the latest chipset built in.
