Removing Advertising Sequences With Ad Spotter

In this tutorial you can follow the step by step procedure for searching for advertising spots in your capture and remove them directly from the compilation.

The following requirement must be fulfilled:

• You have started Nero Vision

To search for advertising spots and to remove them from your movie, proceed as follows:

1. Click the Make CD Menu.
2. Select the Video CD entry.
• The Content window opens.
3. Click the Make button.
4. Select the Create Movie entry.
5. If you want to add media files from your PC, click the button.
• The Open window opens.
6. Select the desired media files and click the Open button.
• The files are added to the media area.
7. Select the files that you want to add to the movie and click the button.
• The files are added to the movie area.
8. Click the icon.
• The Ad Spotter window opens.
9. If you want to increase the sensitivity of your auto-recognition (High) or reduce it (Low), move the slider.
10. Click the Start button.
• The video file is searched for advertising spots.
  The number of found advertising spots is shown above the film strip. The individual film and advertising spots are highlighted on the film strip. The advertising spots are recognized by the red hatched area above and below the thumbnails. On the scroll bar in the preview area there are also shown the individual sequence start and end markings. Here, fine corrections can be carried out if necessary.
11. Click the Generate button.
• The video is inserted without the advertising spots in the desired position in the compilation.

• You have removed the advertising spots from your movie.
