In this tutorial you can follow the step by step procedure for capturing audio streams in Nero WaveEditor. You can use Nero WaveEditor to connect many types of playback devices to the computer and to record the media played back.
- The following requirements must be fulfilled:

- You have started Nero WaveEditor.
- ►
- You have started the playback of an audio stream (e.g. Internet radio).
To capture an audio stream, proceed as follows:
- 1.
- Click the Options > Device Settings menu.

- The Device Settings window is opened.
- 2.
- Select the desired input device from the Input device drop-down menu.
- 3.
- Select the desired output device from the Output device drop-down menu.
- 4.
- Click the OK button.
- 5.
- Click the Audio > Record menu.

- The Sample Format Settings window is opened.

- Select the desired sample rate from the Sample rate drop-down menu.
- 7.
- Select the desired bit depth from the Bit depth drop-down menu.

- Click the OK button.

- The Recording Console window is opened.

- If necessary, complete your desired recording settings.

button to start a recording.

button to interrupt a recording.

- Repeat the last steps to add more recording sequences.

- Your recording is added to the file display.

- Click the File > Save As menu.

- The Save As window is opened.

- Select the desired target folder.

- Enter the desired file name into the File name input field.

- Select the desired file type from the Save as type drop-down menu.

- Click the Save button.
