ActiveX can retrieve serial numbers for Nero 6, Nero 7, Nero 8, Nero 9, Nero BackItUp & Burn, Nero Move it and Nero MediaHome 4 products installed on your PC. No other information or files will be retrieved from your system.

An ActiveX control for Microsoft® Internet Explorer browser will be installed in order to retrieve your serial number. By executing this ActiveX, you are agreeing to let Nero access and process Nero serial numbers and versions from your system.

Depending on your browser security settings you may have to additionally “allow” the execution of the ActiveX plug-in from the Internet Explorer Information bar that appears above the window.
