No other information or files will be retrieved from your system.
Retrieve your serial number from the Nero ControlCenter

For Nero 8 and Nero 9:

  1. Click on the Windows® Start button
  2.  All Programs
  3.  Nero
  4.  Nero ControlCenter
  5.  Select “License” Tab

For Nero Multimedia Suite 10:

  1.   Click on the Windows® Start button
  2.  All Programs
  3.   Nero
  4.   Nero 10
  5.   Nero ControlCenter
  6.  Select “Serial numbers” Tab
Retrieve your serial number manually
  1. Click on "Start  Run" and type "REGEDIT" in the field "Open"
  2. Click on "OK" to open the Registration Editor.
  3. Open the file.

     Your current serial number will be displayed in the Activation dialog box
  4. Your serial number will appear in the right-hand window of the Registration Editor in the line “Serial”.
  5. Please make a note of your serial number.
