great product once installed

"had problems installing over Nero 10, but reinstalling Nero 10, updating then installation worked fine, Nero 11 seems faster than 10. Really like product. I've been using various versions for several years. "

The way to go is with Nero

"It does all they say it does and when you get things wrong the support team never fail you. I have used Nero since version 6.3 it just fits the bill."

Nero 11 vs Nero 6

"I like Nero 11 Platinum but I was a little disappointed with the mp4. I have been using Nero 6 for some time now and one of the features I liked was the crop method used to remove the black borders from the video. I archived my videos in mp4 format because I could use a smaller bitrate and therefore I could get more on a disk foe backup storage. It also made it easy to convert 4:3 video to 16:9 video.
When I recode the mp4 files I made with Nero 6 back to mp2 using Nero 11, I found the conversion to be less than great. It appeared when scenes changed quickly that I would end up with square blocks in the scene. I do not have this problem with Nero 6. Consequently I am still using Nero 6 for this process."

video editing

"The video editing software is very clunky and is not very friendly.
It's missing a few things that would make a good suite a great suite. In place of the pop up where you are to your presets it woud be nice to have drop downs. Clearly label the funtions such as cut, edit, mpg4, with a button or drop down.
For older s the editing software is confusing and difficult to understand & operate without spending a lot of time with it. (This will cause a lot of older s like myself to abandon that program.

It would be nice if you cold add a slow motion option, stop motion feature & to be able to half clips.

A little rework would go a long way.

I've been using your sofware and own Nero 6-7-8-9-10-11 and have enjoyed for the most part every suite.I feel right at home with many of the new features with the exception fo the video editing program.

good job

nero 9 and nero 11 platinum

"Inferior product made by people who do not learn from their mistakes..for example nero 9 had defective add removal..nero eleven has the same problem...and they don't like to admit of correct their mistakes.

If I had it to do over I would buy Adobe

Burning Rom Song Title Agravation!

"Nero does many things well. I have used it through many versions and I get reliable CD's virtually every time. But I have one gripe. When I drag a song over to the left pane, Burning Rom splits the name if there are special, non alpha characters, such as an "'". If the title was "Don't", You get "t you". In the artist(CD Text) you get "Do".
The "n'" is lost.

This is EXTREMELY AGRAVATING!
I'll bet 99% of s don't like the way this works!.
If some Nero guy has a secret application or scheme that needs this, make that person an option to make it work that way. For the 99% of the rest of us, make the default functionality be that the title is the SAME as the file name, regardless of whether there are apostrophe's, signed numbers, caps or lower case. Please fix this!"

Not Smart

"So far all is good. But I really miss the SMART START in Nero 10. It was convenient and fast."

Slide shows

"A great program overall. However, more theme music should be offered when creating a slide show. I just completed one for my granddaughters high school varsity soccer team and there wasn't much to choose from. Other then this, I found the program overall to be very good. "
