How do I Verify My IR Cable Connections?
Please follow the steps below to verify that cable and transceiver (also called “IR blaster”) are used correctly to send signals from Nero LiquidTV™ | TiVo® PC to your cable or satellite box.
These signals allow Nero LiquidTV™ to change channels on your cable or satellite box.
Step 1:
Verify that the IR cable is connected to your PC.
Step 2:
Make sure the emitter at the other end of the cable is positioned so that the IR signal can reach the IR sensor of the box. You may need to experiment until you find the best location.
If you have verified that the IR cables are correctly connected, but still have trouble changing channels, see How do I Change Channels Using IR Control?.
