• In Windows Vista®, the Windows Aero design switched to the normal Windows design (Windows Standard), no matter which Nero application had been started.
• When burning an Audio CD, the pause feature did not work as expected The "crossfading tracks" feature did not work properly either as a result of this.
• The ImageRecorder was not recognized as target when Nero CMD was used with a parameter file. An error message was displayed: "Drive ‘ ‘ not found, available are" followed by the recorders' list.

  Selecting Nero Burning ROM resulted in the error message:
  "Nero Burning ROM could not be started. Your serial number does not allow the start of this application. Upgrade now."
• When creating an Audio CD, Nero Burning ROM encountered problems when adding an ISRC code to an audio file.

• Nero CoverDesigner did not always burn pictures to a LightScribe disc.
  When burning a picture to a LightScribe disc in Nero CoverDesigner, the "preparing print progress" bar quickly moved to 30%, then the printing progress finished with the message "Print progress completed successfully". However, in some cases nothing had been printed/burned to the disc.

• Nero ImageDrive was available in English only, even if Nero has been installed correctly in another language. Starting Nero ImageDrive resulted in the error message:
  "The language file you want to use is not installed on your computer. The language file has probably been deleted."

  "The wizard was interrupted before Nero 8 could be completely installed. Your system has not been modified. To complete the installation at another time, please run the setup again."
• Installation was interrupted with the error message: "A system reboot was requested by a previous software installation (e.g. a Windows update). Please reboot your computer to resume the installation of Nero 8 Demo."
• Uninstalling did not work correctly under certain configurations and was interrupted with the error message: "Error accessing the OLE registry".
• Installation was interrupted with the error message:
  "Nero 7 is still installed; remove Nero 7 before installing Nero 8".
