After installing Nero PhotoShow for the first time, restart your computer. When you launch the application again, attach your camera to the computer and turn the power on the camera.
A dialog should appear that asks if you would like to import photos from the camera.

Choose 'Yes' and you should be able to select what photos you would like to import from your camera into Nero PhotoShow.
