How to activate the upgrade to Nero Multimedia Suite 10 Platinum HD:

1. Update

1a. Close all Microsoft Windows® programs and exit any anti-virus software that may be running.

1b. Open the Nero Control Center by clicking on
“Windows Start” > “Programs” > “Nero” > “Nero 10” > “Nero ControlCenter”.

1c. On the left-hand side, Click on “Update”. The Nero ControlCenter will switch to the Update tab.

Click on “Check for updates”.

In case no updates are available, continue with step 2a. If updates have been found click “Update now” to start the process.

Reboot in case you are prompted to do so. After rebooting your machine open the Nero ControlCenter again and continue with step 2a.


2. Enter Serial Number

2a. In order to enter your new serial number, switch to the respective tab in the Nero ControlCenter by clicking on “Serial numbers” on the left-hand side.

2b. Start the wizard by clicking on “Add”.

Enter your serial number and follow the steps to complete the procedure.


3. Automatic Download

3a. If Nero Control Center detects that an additional installer is needed, related to the new features, a specific download will be offered. By clicking on “Download” the procedure is started and a new window will open from where you can start the installation of the necessary packages. Start the installation by clicking "Run" and follow the process.

3b. Once the installation procedure is finished click on "Close". Nero ControlCenter will
close automatically.


4. Reboot & Finish

Close all windows and restart your computer to activate the changes.


You have now successfully upgraded your version to Nero 10 HD. Enjoy the new features in Nero MediaHub and Nero Vision!
